Acclaimed actress, painter and playback singer Bipasha Hayat will return to the television screen after seven years as a guest on Maasranga Television’s podcast show ‘Behind the Fame with RRK’ on Saturday, April 4, at 9 pm. This marks her first appearance on a podcast.
Since 2019, Bipasha has been living in the US, focusing on painting while stepping back from acting. Speaking on the show, she emphasised that she has not retired from acting. At this stage of her career, she seeks roles that demand rigorous work and allow her to fully embody a character.
Bipasha revealed that she had previously received offers from mainstream commercial films, including ‘Keyamot Theke Keyamot’ in the 1990s and even from Bollywood.
She also expressed a desire to work consistently with street children in Bangladesh and is vocal about urging government and administrative support for their welfare.
The programme is produced by ZI Faisal and hosted by Rumman Rashid Khan.
