Biman Bangladesh Airlines has issued a warning regarding numerous fraudulent Facebook pages and WhatsApp groups that are active using the national carrier’s name, logo, and the identities of its officials.
According to the airline, these scam circles typically target expatriates with alluring advertisements under names such as “Biman Bangladesh Airlines Discount” or “Air Ticket Offer.”
Biman has observed that these fraudulent groups frequently publish fake recruitment notices through social media platforms. These scammers are reportedly embezzling money from people by using the lure of cheap air tickets or the promise of employment.
Considering these activities, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has urged public to remain vigilant and cautious regarding such scams conducted through social media.
