The Bangladesh Under-17 Women’s National Football Team wrapped up their final training session on Sunday evening at the Aqaba Stadium, setting the stage for their crucial opening match in the AFC U-17 Women’s Championship 2026 Qualifiers.
The team will take on host nation Jordan Monday, October 13, at 7:00 PM local time (10:00 PM Bangladesh time), at the same venue. The match marks the beginning of Bangladesh’s qualifying campaign as they aim to make a strong impression in one of Asia’s most competitive youth tournaments.
Under the floodlights of Aqaba, the young Bangladesh side focused on light tactical drills and set-piece routines during their final practice, fine-tuning their strategy before facing a physically strong Jordanian team. The mood in the camp remained positive and determined as players showed high energy and concentration throughout the session.
Bangladesh defeated their United Arab Emirates and Syria in friendly matches held at the UAE where they gained valuable match experience ahead of the qualifiers. The coaching staff are hopeful that the exposure from those games will help the players settle quickly on foreign soil and execute their plans effectively.
