Bangladesh will purchase oil from wherever it is available at the most affordable price, Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman has said.
He made the remark on Sunday while speaking to journalists after a meeting between Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the US Ambassador to Bangladesh, Brent T Christensen at the Secretariat in Dhaka.
Khalilur emphasised that the government’s priority is to secure oil supplies at competitive rates, ensuring stability in domestic energy availability amid global market fluctuations.
