Nigar and Sobhana shifted momentum by rotating strike and limiting risk. Their approach reduced wicket pressure and allowed Bangladesh to rebuild a platform in the middle overs. The pair focused on control rather than acceleration, which stabilised the innings after the early collapse.
Bangladesh now rely on this partnership to extend deep into the innings. A late acceleration from this base would allow them to post a competitive total in a match that will decide the series.
