Bangladesh Bank has transferred four directors and one additional director in a structural reshuffle within its various departments and offices.
According to an order issued on Wednesday, Director Md Zabdul Islam has been moved from Human Resources Department-1 to the Financial Institutions Inspection Department.
Concurrently, Director Md Shahid Reza has been transferred from the Financial Institutions Inspection Department to join Human Resources Department-1.
Director Md Bayezid Sarker, previously of Banking Regulation and Policy Department-1, has been posted to the Motijheel office, where he will serve as the acting executive director (Currency).
In a similar move, Director Gazi Md Mahfuzul Islam has been transferred from the Motijheel office to Banking Regulation and Policy Department-1. Furthermore, Additional Director Md Kamrul Islam has been moved from the Governor’s Office to the Sadarghat office.
The order stated that these changes are to take effect immediately. The concerned officials have been instructed to join their new stations after handing over their current departmental responsibilities.
