Bangladesh have named their squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 as they get ready for the global event in England and Wales next month.
The tournament will begin on June 12 and run until July 5 across England and Wales. Bangladesh earned their place with confidence after winning the qualifier stage and will now look to carry that form into the main event.
Bangladesh will start their World Cup journey on June 14 against the Netherlands at Edgbaston.
Before the tournament, the team will travel to Edinburgh on May 25 for a tri-series with Scotland and the Netherlands. They will then head to Loughborough for warm up matches before the World Cup begins.
Nigar Sultana Joty will captain the side. Nahida Akter has been named vice-captain.
The squad includes a mix of senior players and rising names as Bangladesh prepare for a big test on the world stage.

Bangladesh will enter the tournament with belief after their strong qualifier campaign and will hope to make that momentum count in England and Wales.
