Bangladesh have named a 15 member squad for the ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2026 and the Asian Games.
Nigar Sultana Joty will lead the team in both events. Nahida Akter will serve as her deputy.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the squad on Monday.
Bangladesh will first take part in the Women’s Asia Cup in Dubai, UAE.
They will start their campaign against Indonesia on August 31. Bangladesh will then face Pakistan on September 3 and Sri Lanka on September 6.
The semi finals will take place on September 10 and 11. The final will be played on September 13.
The squad features several regular members of the national team. Ritu Moni, Fahima Khatun and Sharmin Akter Supta are among the experienced players.
Marufa Akter and Fariha Islam Trisna have also made the squad. Rabeya Khan, Shorna Akter and Sultana Khatun will provide more options with the ball.
Dilara Akter, Juairiya Ferdous, Sarmin Sultana and Sobhana Mostary are also in the team.
Bangladesh will later travel to Japan for the 20th Asian Games in Aichi and Nagoya. The same 15 players will represent the country there.
