Bangladeshi expatriates in Portugal are gearing up for “Bangla Live,” a major Bengali music concert set to take place in Lisbon on 26 July, with rock legend James headlining the event.
Popular actor Zayed Khan will also perform at the concert. The event marks his first-ever performance in Portugal, the home country of football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Zayed said he is excited about performing for the Bangladeshi community there.
The concert will begin at 5:00pm at Lisboa ao Vivo, one of Lisbon’s well-known live music venues.
According to the organisers, James will perform many of his timeless hits, promising an unforgettable musical experience for fans.
They also expect Zayed Khan’s energetic stage presence to add a different dimension to the event.
The concert is being organised by Casa do Bangladesh and Notícia Bangla.
The event has already generated strong enthusiasm among Bangladeshis living in and around Lisbon.
Organisers say “Bangla Live” is expected to be the largest Bengali music event ever held in Portugal.
