Bangladesh national cricket team will host Australia national cricket team in a revised white-ball series schedule, with venues now finalised for both formats.

All three ODIs will be held at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, while the three-match T20I series will take place in Chattogram.

The tour marks Australia’s first bilateral ODI series in Bangladesh in 15 years, adding further significance to the upcoming fixtures.

Earlier plans had Australia arriving on 2 June, as per the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s initial schedule announced at the start of the year. However, adjustments were required due to Australia’s prior commitment to a three-match ODI series in Pakistan, beginning on 30 May.

Under the revised schedule, the ODI series will now begin on 9 June, with the remaining matches set for 11 and 14 June in Mirpur.

The focus will then shift to Chattogram, where the T20I series will be played on 17, 19 and 21 June.

Australia have previously toured Bangladesh twice for bilateral ODI series, in 2006 and 2011, winning all six matches across those visits.

In T20Is, the two teams have met once in a bilateral series in Bangladesh, in 2021, when the hosts claimed a memorable 4–1 victory. Australia, however, won their clash during the 2014 ICC T20 World Cup.

Australia’s chief selector George Bailey recently confirmed that a preparatory camp will be held at the National Cricket Centre in Brisbane ahead of the Pakistan and Bangladesh tours.

Players currently involved in franchise leagues such as the IPL and county cricket are unlikely to be available for that camp.
