K-pop group ATEEZ has secured its third No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 chart with its latest album Golden Hour: Part.5.
According to Variety, the album opens with 228,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Out of this, 223,000 units come from pure album sales. The strong sales come from 30 CD versions and five vinyl editions.
This marks ATEEZ’s third chart-topping album on the Billboard 200. The group previously reached No. 1 with Golden Hour: Part.2 in 2024 and The World EP.Fin: Will in 2023.
With this achievement, ATEEZ now holds the highest number of top 10 entries by any group in the 2020s. The record puts them ahead of Stray Kids and Tomorrow X Together.
The group consists of Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho. They released their thirteenth EP, Golden Hour: Part.4, in February before dropping Part.5 late last month.
The group also performed at BST Hyde Park in London shortly after the album release, becoming the third K-pop group to headline the festival.
Golden Hour: Part.5 stands as the only new entry in this week’s Billboard 200 top 10.
Olivia Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love drops to No. 2 after two weeks at the top with 127,000 equivalent album units. Ella Langley’s Dandelion remains at No. 3. Drake’s Iceman falls from No. 2 to No. 4, while Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem moves from No. 4 to No. 5.
