Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma has sparked speculation about a possible third pregnancy after appearing in Mumbai with her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli. Videos of the couple’s recent outing have circulated on social media, prompting fans to question whether they are expecting another child. Neither Sharma nor Kohli has confirmed the rumours.

According to News18, the speculation began after the couple attended a live kirtan by American devotional singer Krishna Das at the Dome, SVP Stadium, in Mumbai’s Worli area on Sunday, 25 October. They were also spotted at the Gateway of India before heading to the musical event.

Videos from the gathering show Sharma clapping and singing along to the devotional chants, with Kohli seated beside her. Their appearance quickly drew attention online, with some users speculating about a possible pregnancy.

One user asked, “Anushka is pregnant again?” Another wrote, “Is it only me who thinks that Anushka Sharma is pregnant?” A third joked in Hindi that Sharma herself might have learnt about her pregnancy from Twitter.

Despite the online speculation, the couple have made no official announcement about having a third child.

Sharma and Kohli married in December 2017. They welcomed their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021, followed by their son, Akaay, in February 2024.

Meanwhile, Sharma has largely stayed away from the big screen since Zero, which was released in 2018. She has completed work on Chakda Xpress, in which she portrays former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, but the film has yet to receive a release date.

The film’s shoot wrapped in 2022. In February 2026, director Prosit Roy expressed disappointment that the project had not reached audiences, saying that people who had seen it during post-production continued to tell him how much it had stayed with them.

“Till today, the handful who saw the film during post keep telling me how much it stayed with them. That’s the real tragedy — it never got to reach everyone it was made for. We gave this film everything we had. Sadly, the system didn’t give it the chance it deserved,” Roy wrote on social media.

The film’s release remains uncertain.
