Bangladesh’s leading esports team A1 Esports is preparing to represent the country at the PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) South Asia Finals after winning the PUBG MOBILE National Championship for the third consecutive time.
Marking the occasion, Airtel Bangladesh, the youth-focused brand of Robi Axiata PLC, has released a special esports anthem dedicated to the team’s international campaign. The initiative is being described as Bangladesh’s first full-fledged esports theme song released by a brand.
The specially produced track highlights A1 Esports’ journey to the PMGO South Asia Finals and showcases Bangladesh’s growing presence on the global esports stage. Airtel has been the principal brand partner of A1 Esports for years, while the team also serves as the telecom brand’s ambassador in the country’s esports space.
At the PMGO South Asia Finals, A1 Esports will face top teams from across South Asia, including India, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Teams performing successfully in the regional finals will advance to the PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO).
The collaboration between A1 Esports and Airtel is being viewed as an important development for Bangladesh’s expanding gaming and esports ecosystem, with industry insiders believing that such international exposure could inspire and create opportunities for the country’s aspiring gamers.
