A mobile court under Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has fined Ad-din Hospital in the capital’s Mogbazar Tk3 lakh following a drive that uncovered various irregularities on Sunday.

The operation, conducted from 3pm to 6pm, found evidence of violations leading to penalties under two separate laws. The hospital was fined Tk2 lakh under the Safe Food Act and an additional Tk1 lakh under the Consumer Rights Protection Act.

The drive was led by DSCC Executive Magistrate Aminul Islam, accompanied by the city corporation’s assistant director, regional health officer, safe food inspector, and members of law enforcement agencies.
