As a pioneer in agricultural mechanisation in Bangladesh, ACI Motors Limited has made history by officially earning a place in the Guinness World Records for delivering 350 units of Sonalika Tractors to farmers in a single day on Monday.
The grand event took place at the Trade Fair Ground, adjacent to Gor-e-Shaheed Central Eidgah Maidan in Dinajpur, under the inspiring theme “Sonalikar Bisshojoy”.
This remarkable achievement has brought immense pride to Bangladesh, marking a significant milestone for the nation’s agricultural sector.
The event was presided over by Subrata Ranjan Das, Deputy Managing Director of ACI Motors, while the Chief Guest was Gaurav Saxena, Director & CEO, International Business, International Tractors Limited.
Among others, Md Asif Uddin, Chief Business Officer of ACI Motors, Md Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dinajpur, senior officials, valued customers, and tractor drivers were also present.
Over the past 18 years of partnership with Sonalika, ACI Motors has played a pivotal role in advancing agricultural mechanisation in Bangladesh. The company currently holds over 50% market share in the country’s tractor industry, maintaining its leadership position.
The purpose of this landmark event was to celebrate this success and inspire renewed enthusiasm and motivation among the agricultural community. Although agriculture continues to be the backbone of Bangladesh’s economy, a lack of motivation and drive remains visible in the sector. ACI Motors considers it a core responsibility to encourage and uplift farmers and to strengthen the agricultural foundation of the nation.
