Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have delighted fans after being spotted together during a rare public outing in New York, with photos of the couple quickly going viral on social media, reports India News Network.
The images surfaced after a fan met the couple during an evening stroll and shared a photograph on Instagram, describing them as “Bollywood royalty.”
The post has since attracted widespread attention from fans.
In the picture, Abhishek kept his look casual in a T-shirt and cap, while Aishwarya wore an elegant all-black outfit.
The fan expressed excitement over meeting the couple, calling them their “favourite beautiful Bollywood royalty couple.”
The sighting comes as Abhishek is reportedly taking a break from filming his upcoming movie King to spend time with his family.
Abhishek and Aishwarya first met while working on the 2000 film Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, where they initially developed a friendship.
Their relationship later grew during the filming of Umrao Jaan in 2006 before becoming stronger while shooting Guru.
Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya at the New York premiere of Guru, and the couple married on 20 April, 2007.
They are parents to daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
In previous interviews, Abhishek has spoken about their relationship, describing his marriage as a dream and praising Aishwarya for her support and dedication as a mother.
He has also shared light-hearted advice about married life, joking that husbands should apologise to their wives every night to maintain peace.
On the professional front, Abhishek will next be seen in King, directed by Siddharth Anand and featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
Aishwarya was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 and has yet to announce her next project.
