West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and opted to bat first against Bangladesh in the second T20 International at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Wednesday. Bangladesh, having lost the opening match, are fighting to stay alive in the three-match series.
The hosts made one change to their playing XI, with wicketkeeper-batter Jaker Ali Anik coming in for Nurul Hasan Sohan. Bangladesh have gone with a three-man pace attack featuring Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Mustafizur Rahman, while Rishad Hossain and Nasum Ahmed handle the spin duties.
West Indies, meanwhile, remained unchanged, sticking with the same XI that secured victory in the first match.
