Professor Dr Md Habibullah Talukder Ruskin, also known as the Pink Man, has received the Green Delta-BRAC Bank Tara Award for his outstanding advocacy in cancer awareness.
He received the honour on Friday night at a breast cancer awareness session titled “Rising Above Fear,” held in collaboration with Green Delta Insurance and support from Gates Foundation at the BRAC Bank Head Office, read a press release.
Dr Ruskin is the founder and chief coordinator of Bangladesh and former professor and head of Cancer Epidemiology, National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital.
He is currently working as the project coordinator of Gonoshasthaya Community Based Cancer Hospital. Bangladesh Breast Cancer Awareness Forum has expressed thanks and gratitude to the organisers.
