The much-anticipated concert by James, scheduled to mark the inauguration of Shurjo Club in Meherpur, has been postponed. Club authorities told the media that the delay was due to the organisers not obtaining permission from the local administration.
Officials confirmed that all promotion and ticket sales have been halted. Tickets had been on sale for only three days, with a limited number sold.
The details of ticket buyers, including names and phone numbers, have been recorded, and the club said that a decision regarding refunds would be announced in due course. Journalists will be present when refunds are processed.
The club further clarified that all concert-related activities were suspended from September 25 and warned the public not to buy tickets from any unofficial sources.
Shurjo Club will not take responsibility for any fraudulent ticket sales carried out in the concert’s name.
