A Bangladeshi youth named Faisal Hossain (21) has been killed while fighting for the banned militant group Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Faisal was a resident of Chhoto Dudhkhali village in the Kalikapur Union of Madaripur Sadar Upazila. His father works as an electrician, and his elder brother, Arman, works as a delivery man for an online business in the capital.

Arman Hossain, Faisal’s older brother, confirmed the news after seeing pictures of Faisal holding a weapon on social media. He said, “I am certain it is my younger brother Faisal in the photo.”

According to the family, Faisal had left the country in March of last year, claiming he was going to Dubai. While he maintained regular communication with his family, the last time they spoke was before Eid-ul-Adha. After that, there has been no further contact, and the family grew increasingly concerned.

The incident has sparked deep concern among the local community, highlighting the risks young individuals face in the ongoing conflict in Pakistan. The family has requested support from authorities to ascertain the full details of Faisal’s death.
