Three people were killed in a head-on collision between a pickup van and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Sunamganj on Friday morning.
The accident occurred on the Sunamganj-Sylhet Highway in the Pagla Bazar area of Shantiganj upazila.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed.
Shantiganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Ahad confirmed the incident, saying that the collision left three people dead, including the CNG driver. “Further details will be provided later,” he added.
