BRAC Bank inaugurated a new sub-branch in the Uposhahar area of Rajshahi City on September 17, bringing the bank’s sub-branch network to 103, according to a press statement.
The sub-branch at Monowara Max Tower on Dorikhorbona Road was formally opened by BRAC Bank Managing Director & CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan. BRAC Bank Deputy Managing Director & COO Md Sabbir Hossain, Senior Zonal Head for North A K M Tareq, and senior officials of the bank’s distribution network were also present.
The new Rajshahi sub-branch aims to provide business and individual customers convenient access to smart banking services in a city known for its educational institutions and cash crops, including mangoes and silk.
As part of its multi-channel distribution strategy, BRAC Bank continues to expand its sub-branch network to bring modern banking services across Bangladesh.
The sub-branch will offer a wide range of services, including account opening, cash deposits and withdrawals, pension deposits, fund transfers via EFTN and RTGS, remittance services, utility bill payments, credit and debit cards, consumer and student loans, cheque book processing, Astha App enrollment, school banking, and various savings instruments, except for foreign exchange services.
BRAC Bank’s extensive network now comprises 294 branches and sub-branches, 330 ATMs, 446 SME Unit Offices, and 1,121 Agent Banking Outlets, positioning it among the largest banking networks in Bangladesh.
