Shachindra Nath Samadder has joined Ansar-VDP Development Bank as its new Deputy Managing Director (DMD), following a transfer order issued by the Department of Financial Institutions.
He officially took charge on August 25, moving from his previous role as Deputy Managing Director at Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL).
Samadder began his banking career in 1998 as a Senior Officer at Rupali Bank Limited. A graduate of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), he earned his BSc in Mechanical Engineering in 1995 and completed an MBA in 2006.
With a career spanning over two decades, he has held key roles such as Branch Manager, Zonal Manager, and Departmental Head at Rupali Bank, and most recently served at BDBL. He has also participated in various professional trainings and seminars both at home and abroad.
Bringing with him extensive experience and leadership, Samadder is expected to contribute significantly to the ongoing development of Ansar-VDP Bank.
