Singer Fahim Islam has returned with a new song inspired by memories from the early years of his musical journey. Titled ‘Osru’, the track revisits a composition he first wrote more than two decades ago, bringing its original band sound to a new recording.

Simon wrote the lyrics, while Fahim composed the music. Alongside singing, he also played guitar on the track. Shahriar Rafat handled the musical arrangement.

Fahim said he originally wrote the song around 2004–2005, when he was involved with a band.

After keeping it close to his heart for years, he decided to give it a fresh arrangement while preserving the musical atmosphere of that period.

“I wrote the song around 2004–2005, when I was in a band. I have recreated it after all these years simply because I have always liked it. However, I tried to retain the band atmosphere and the old flavour of that time. The song carries many memories for me. I hope listeners will also find a touch of those earlier days in this new version of ‘Osru’,” he said.
