Sirajganj Economic Zone made a direct pitch to about 75 North Bengal investors in Bogura on Friday, offering infrastructure and facilities for setting up factories as it seeks to draw new industries to the zone.
The pitch came at the Bogura Investor Roadshow 2026, where the zone authority presented its investment opportunities to local entrepreneurs and business representatives.
Sirajganj Economic Zone Director Mohammad Kamruzzaman said regional investment roadshows could help expand industrialisation and investment by connecting directly with prospective investors.
Md Shariful Islam, chief administrative and human resources officer of Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited, presented the zone’s investment prospects, infrastructure and facilities for industrial projects.
Bogura-4 lawmaker Md Mosharraf Hossain and Bogura-6 lawmaker Md Rezaul Karim Badsha spoke at the programme, along with Bogura Zila Parishad Administrator A K M Ahsanul Taiyab Zakir and Bogura Chamber of Commerce and Industry President M S M Atikur Rahman Badal.
They discussed industrialisation, investment expansion and ways to increase regional economic activity.
Sirajganj Economic Zone Chairman A Matin Chowdhury said direct engagement with potential investors could help attract new industries and investment to the zone.
