High Commissioner of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of Seychelles Dr Zokey Ahad met with Seychelles Minister for Foreign Affairs Barry Faure on Tuesday, at Maison Quéau de Quinssy.
During the cordial meeting, both sides held constructive talks regarding existing bilateral cooperation and reviewed various pending agreements and memoranda of understanding.
Both parties expressed a shared commitment to formalise these agreements within the course of this year.
The discussions also highlighted the valuable contribution of the Bangladeshi diaspora currently residing and working in Seychelles. High Commissioner Dr Zokey Ahad is expected to engage with the diaspora community during his visit.
The high commissioner and minister Faure exchanged views on matters relating to multilateral cooperation. These discussions included ongoing engagements within the framework of the United Nations.
