Premier Cement Mills PLC shares rose 9.94 per cent to Tk39.80 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday after the company reported a 480.65 per cent jump in third-quarter earnings per share, though weaker cash flow signalled liquidity pressure.
The company said in its unaudited disclosure that consolidated earnings per share rose to Tk1.80 in January–March, from Tk0.31 a year earlier.
For July 2025 to March 2026, earnings per share increased 197.01 per cent to Tk1.99 from Tk0.67 in the same period of the previous financial year.
Cash generation weakened, with consolidated net operating cash flow per share falling 24.01 per cent to Tk4.62, down from Tk6.08.
Net asset value per share edged up 1.55 per cent to Tk65.50 as of 31 March, from Tk64.50 at end-June 2025.
