Beast Industries, the media company founded by YouTube creator MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), is facing a lawsuit filed by a former senior employee alleging sexual harassment, gender discrimination and retaliation. The company has strongly denied the claims, calling them “categorically false”.

The complaint was lodged in a US federal court by Lorrayne Mavromatis, who worked for the company between 2022 and 2025 in senior creative and management roles. She alleges a workplace culture where harassment of women was tolerated and complaints were not properly addressed.

According to court filings, Mavromatis claims she was subjected to inappropriate conduct, observed similar behaviour towards other female staff, and faced negative consequences after raising concerns internally, including after taking maternity leave.

She also alleges that senior leadership dismissed her concerns and that her role was later downgraded before she was ultimately dismissed. The lawsuit seeks compensation for alleged financial losses, damages and other legal remedies.

Beast Industries has rejected the allegations in full, stating that internal records, messages and witness accounts contradict the claims. The company has described the case as an attempt to generate financial gain through misleading accusations.

The lawsuit also references comments allegedly made by former leadership figures about workplace dynamics, which the company has disputed, saying the claims are being misrepresented.

Mavromatis further alleges she was terminated shortly after returning from leave, while the company maintains her departure was part of a broader restructuring process involving multiple roles across teams.

MrBeast, one of the world’s most prominent online creators with hundreds of millions of subscribers, has not personally commented beyond the company’s statement. The case is ongoing.
