HBO has announced several new additions to the cast of ‘The White Lotus’ for its upcoming fourth season. Variety has confirmed that Max Greenfield (New Girl, The Neighborhood), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Silicon Valley), Chloe Bennet (Agents of SHIELD, Interior Chinatown), Charlie Hall (Sweethearts, The Sex Lives of College Girls) and Jarrad Paul (The D Train, Chad) will appear in recurring roles.
As with previous seasons, details about the characters and storylines are being kept under wraps. Earlier casting announcements for Season Four include Sandra Bernhard, Helena Bonham Carter, Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, AJ Michalka and Nadia Tereszkiewicz.
The new season is set in France, with locations including Paris and various spots along the French Riviera. Series creator Mike White will serve as writer, director and executive producer.
David Bernad and Mark Kamine also executive produce. White, Bernad and Paul previously collaborated on the film ‘The D Train’, with White co-starring and producing and Paul co-writing and co-directing.
Season Four is scheduled to begin filming later this year. Since its debut in 2021, The White Lotus has become both a cultural phenomenon and a critical success for HBO.
Across its first three seasons, the series has received 68 Emmy nominations and won 16 awards, including back-to-back wins for Jennifer Coolidge in Seasons One and Two.
