Abbas Araghchi has issued a direct warning to US President Donald Trump, declaring that initial military objectives have fallen short. “Plan A for a clean rapid military victory failed, Mr. President,” Iran’s top diplomat wrote on social media platform X. “Your Plan B will be [an] even bigger failure.”

Araghchi concluded that the opportunity for a “unique deal” was “burned” during the most recent negotiations, adding that “‘Israel First’ always means ‘America Last’.”

Bahrain refinery fire contained, no casualties reported

A blaze triggered by an Iranian missile strike at Bahrain’s primary oil refinery has been successfully contained, authorities confirmed. The fire broke out at a unit of the Bapco Energies refinery on Sitra island following the attack, according to a statement from Bahrain’s National Communication Centre.

Officials stated there were no injuries and refinery operations continue uninterrupted, with damage assessments currently underway. The facility, operated by state-owned Bapco, sits on Sitra’s eastern coast, south of the capital Manama.
