Jamuna Bank PLC organised a “Policy Guidelines” workshop on financial inclusion and financial literacy at its corporate head office, with all heads of divisions participating, the bank said.
Additional Managing Director and COO Md Abdus Salam inaugurated the workshop.
Bangladesh Bank Financial Inclusion Department Director Md Iqbal Mohsin attended as chief guest and conducted the session.
He discussed the importance of extending banking services to marginalised groups and strengthening financial literacy to ensure effective financial inclusion.
He also guided divisional heads on implementing the latest policy guidelines issued by Bangladesh Bank at the field level.
Deputy Managing Directors Noor Mohammed, A K M Atiqur Rahman, Md Shahidul Islam and Mohammad Jahangir Alam, along with other senior officials, were present.
