Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding with Biztrade Ventures Limited to expand end-to-end services for cottage, micro, small and medium enterprises across the country.

Under the agreement, Biztrade Ventures will act as a strategic advisory partner to support Community Bank’s CMSME portfolio through access to finance, inputs, advisory services, market linkages, buyer connections, business promotion and structured loan arrangements, the bank said in a press release.

The collaboration will also tap Biztrade’s digital platform to engage CMSME entrepreneurs for loan facilitation and business growth, helping to streamline outreach and support delivery nationwide.

The MoU was signed on Sunday at the bank’s head office by Kimiwa Saddat Managing Director Current Charge of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC and Mustafa Mahbub Hasan Founder and CEO of Biztrade Ventures Limited.

Senior officials from both organisations attended the signing ceremony, including representatives from Community Bank’s operations, digital financial services, risk management, corporate banking, SME, agriculture and agent banking divisions, alongside technical and platform teams from Biztrade Ventures.

Community Bank said the partnership is designed to offer more integrated and practical support to SMEs, reinforcing the bank’s role in facilitating sustainable business growth across Bangladesh.
