The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the broadcast channels for the 2026 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh. Fans in the country will be able to watch the matches on TSM and the RabbitholeBD app. T Sports and Nagorik TV will also show the tournament in Bangladesh, the ICC said in a press release.
The 2026 T20 World Cup will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Bangladesh will not take part in the tournament after a government decision. Even so, cricket fans in Bangladesh will be able to follow every match live through the official broadcasters.
TSM, a Bangladeshi-owned platform, regularly airs bilateral series and ICC events in the country. The RabbitholeBD app will provide live streaming of the World Cup matches. These platforms will ensure full coverage for local viewers.
In India, the tournament will be shown on Star Sports TV. Matches will also be available on digital platforms JioStar and JioHotstar. In Sri Lanka, Dialog TV will broadcast the World Cup live. Digital viewing options will also be available there.
The World Cup warm-up matches started on 2 February and will end on Wednesday. The ICC earlier confirmed that these matches are also being shown in Bangladesh on TSM and the RabbitholeBD app.
The T20 World Cup will begin on 7 February and end on 8 March. Twenty teams will take part in the event. A total of 55 matches will be played. If Pakistan reach the final, the match will be held in Colombo. If not, the final will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The ICC has issued a revised schedule after Bangladesh withdrew, with Scotland included in the tournament.
