The advisory council members have begun a weeklong nationwide campaign to raise public awareness about the referendum on July Charter.
The initiative, led by advisers responsible for election monitoring and support, kicked off on Thursday and will continue until 21 January.
During this period, the advisers will visit districts across the country to inform citizens about the referendum’s significance, objectives, and procedures.
As part of the campaign, the advisers will engage with local administration officials, civil society representatives, and members of various professional communities to encourage public participation and foster understanding of the voting process.
On the first day of the campaign, Local Government Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan visited Chattogram, where he attended meetings with officials and participated in several outreach activities aimed at promoting the referendum.
This effort reflects the interim government’s commitment to ensuring informed and widespread voter participation in the forthcoming referendum.
