Habibul Bashar steps down from his role at Chattogram Royals. The news came before the start of the BPL’s 12th edition. The team had announced him as manager and mentor only a few days ago. According to reports, he took the decision of stepping down due to personal reasons.
The Royals now move ahead with Mominul Haque, a division-1 coach was the head coach. Nazmul Hossain Milon and Ashraful Islam Zico will also help in the coaching group.
Across the league, the other teams have also fixed their coaching staff. Rangpur named Mickey Arthur as head coach. Mohammad Ashraful will assist him. Shahriar Nafees will guide the batters. Mohammad Rafique will look after the spin bowlers.
Rajshahi picked Hannan Sarkar as their head coach. Dhaka Capitals will play under Toby Radford. Sylhet chose Sohel Islam as their coach. Khaled Mahmud Sujon will guide Noakhali.
The six teams now prepare for the new BPL season with their line-ups and staff ready.
