Light of Hope Ventures on Saturday organised a Startup & Industry Visit at Chaldal on Saturday, Bangladesh’s largest online grocery platform, offering 20 emerging e-commerce entrepreneurs an exclusive firsthand look at the operations of a technology-driven enterprise.

During the visit, participants toured Chaldal’s state-of-the-art facilities, observing warehouse operations, product management systems, customer experience strategies, and the logistics network that supports deliveries nationwide.

Interactive sessions highlighted fundraising, operational challenges, team scaling, supply chain management, and data-driven decision-making.

Under the leadership of Waseem, Zia, and Tejas, Chaldal has become a household name, transforming how millions of Bangladeshis shop for daily essentials.

The leadership team also oversees Chaldal’s subsidiaries—Cookups, GoGoBangla, and Chaldal Payments—driving innovation in logistics, food services, and digital payments.

The organisation previously arranged a similar visit to Ten Minute School and plans to continue such initiatives nationwide.

Positioning itself as the “Y Combinator for Bangladeshi SMEs,” Light of Hope Ventures supports founders across eight sectors, including agriculture, education, manufacturing, services, and emerging technologies. The organization offers mentorship, investment connections, and market exposure to more than 1,000 startup and SME founders.
