Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Doha airports remain closed amid the ongoing war situation in the Middle East, leading to the cancellation of four more international flights at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.
Airport sources said two flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines scheduled to arrive from the Middle East on Thursday morning were cancelled, while two Air Arabia flights on the same route were also called off.
A Salam Air flight from Muscat was diverted to Dhaka due to fog before later landing at Shah Amanat International Airport at 10:55am.
The aircraft is scheduled to depart from Chattogram with passengers bound for Muscat.
Since 28 February, the war situation in the Middle East has disrupted international flight operations, resulting in a total of 50 flight cancellations at Shah Amanat International Airport, including the latest four.
