Four individuals have been detained for allegedly appearing as proxy candidates in a recruitment examination at the Kushtia Tax Zone office.

The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon during the viva voce for the post of office assistant.

According to sources, members of the recruitment board became suspicious of the behaviour of the four individuals during the interview process and questioned them. Upon verification of their documents, it was found that the photographs on their admit cards had been forged and that they had appeared in the examination in place of the actual job applicants.
