Thirty-nine officers serving as Police Inspectors (Unarmed) have been promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Tausif Ahmed on behalf of the President, regarding the promotions on Monday.
The notification instructs the promoted officers to submit their joining letters to the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs through the proper authorities.
The order has been issued in the public interest and will come into effect immediately.
