A total of 22 individuals, involved in various crimes, have been arrested by the Police in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur area during a day-long special drive.
The arrested individuals are: 1. Mujahid (19), 2. Ripon (34), 3. Saddam (19), 4. Suman (29), 5. Sharif (30), 6. Tousif Hossain (24), 7. Abdul Al Mamun (22), 8. Rabul (24), 9. Arafat Hossain Tuhin (24), 10. Ilias Hossain Miraj (31), 11. Dalim Bhuiyan (50), 12. Fuad (24), 13. Bondhon (20), 14. Samsad (25), 15. Ikram Tota (55), 16. Imran (38), 17. Azad (28), 18. Faisal (28), 19. Arif Hossain (45), 20. Akter Hossain Kallu (45), 21. Shakil Shikdar (25), and 22. Momin (24).
Mohammadpur police source confirmed that on 13 November, the police conducted the special operation in various areas under the thana.
The drive led to the arrest of the 22 individuals, including regular case accused and those with pending warrants, for their involvement in various crimes. They have since been produced before the cognisant court.
The source further stated that such operations will continue to maintain normal law and order in the area.
