Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon informed Parliament on Sunday that no students from 185 educational institutions passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations in 2024 and 2025.
Milon provided this information in a written response to a query from Member of Parliament Md Abul Kalam during a session of the Jatiya Sangsad. The proceedings were presided over by Deputy Speaker Kayser Kamal.
According to the minister, the 185 institutions with a zero per cent success rate are under the jurisdiction of nine general education boards, the Madrasa Education Board, and the Technical Education Board.
He added that the government has already initiated various measures aimed at improving the standard of education in these specific institutions.
