Several areas of Keraniganj will face an eight-hour power outage today, Monday, as part of annual maintenance work, Dhaka Palli Bidyut Samiti said.
The utility authority issued the notice on Sunday, stating that power supply will remain suspended from 8:00am to 4:00pm under the Hasnabad Zonal Office.
The affected areas are Uttar Pangaon, Dakshin Pangaon, Jajira, Kazirgaw, Dakshin Bagair, Kandapara, Anita Kautail, Brahmangaon and Bashundhara Residential Area.
Dhaka Palli Bidyut Samiti said it aims to restore electricity earlier if maintenance finishes ahead of schedule. The authority apologised for the temporary inconvenience to customers.
