The 11-party alliance, led by Jamaat-e-Islami, is set to hold a protest rally and procession in the capital on Saturday, demanding implementation of the referendum result.
The demonstration will begin at 5pm at the north gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
The alliance has also scheduled a meeting of its top leaders on 7 April to discuss strategies for future political action.
Hamidur Rahman Azad, assistant secretary-general of Jamaat-e-Islami, informed journalists on Thursday afternoon after a meeting of the 11-party liaison committee held in Gulshan, Dhaka.
He said the protest is a response to the government’s failure to implement the referendum decision in parliament.
Azad accused the ruling party of ignoring public opinion and prioritising constitutional amendments over genuine reforms.
He stressed that street protests are now the only effective means for the alliance to press its demands.
He also outlined plans for the alliance to raise public awareness through seminars, symposiums, and leaflet distribution on the referendum and the July Charter.
Azad warned that if the government continues to disregard public opinion, the alliance may announce stronger programmes in the coming days.
