A man was killed and two others injured after a bus lost control, hit a road island, and overturned in Mohakhali, Dhaka.
The deceased, Rafiq, 35, was the bus helper.
The accident occurred around 6am on Saturday, said Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Police Camp In‑charge Md Faruk.
The injured persons — Rony, 25, and Firoz, 40 — were taken to DMCH. Both were passengers of the bus.
Fire Service said the bus lost control, hit a road island, and overturned, leaving Rafiq, Rony, and Firoz injured. Firefighters rescued them and took them to the hospital. Doctors pronounced Rafiq dead around 8am.
DMCH Police Camp In‑charge Faruk said the body has been kept in the morgue for autopsy.
