Three golf enthusiasts in Texas have set a new world record by building the largest golf ball pyramid, using 19,019 balls.
Michael Furrh, Debbie Reynolds, and Terri times Janak led a team of volunteers in constructing the pyramid at Benbrook Lake during the 2025 Benbrook Heritage Fest in September, according to reports from upi.com.
The previous record of 17,575 balls, set by Zachary Krivda of Pennsylvania in 2022, was surpassed with this effort. The pyramid consisted of 38 meticulously stacked rows, with no adhesive or other products allowed to hold the balls in place. A custom-built wooden stage provided support at the base.
