vivo has introduced the V70 FE smartphone with a 7000mAh battery, positioning it as a solution to battery constraints faced by users during travel.

The device delivers up to 13 hours of TikTok use, more than 19 hours of navigation and over 43 hours of YouTube streaming on a single charge, the company said in a press release issued on April 19.

It supports 90W FlashCharge, allowing rapid recharging when battery levels drop.

The phone also features a Super Battery Saver mode that can provide up to 157 minutes of talk time or 21.6 hours of standby at 5 per cent battery, while extending usage up to 20 days on a full charge.

Despite the larger battery, the device is 7.59mm thick and includes a 1.5K Infinity AMOLED display powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor and OriginOS 6.

It carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for resistance to dust and water, aimed at outdoor and travel use.

For imaging, the V70 FE includes a 200MP camera with optical image stabilisation, 30x zoom and CIPA 4.0 stabilisation, alongside features such as AI Magic Landscape and AI Magic Weather.

The company also highlighted the V70 model, which includes a 50MP ZEISS super telephoto camera, 4K 60fps video and portrait features.

vivo said the V70 FE is designed to support extended smartphone usage without interruption, addressing one of the key constraints in travel-heavy scenarios.

The company operates in more than 60 countries and serves over 400 million users globally, supported by research and development centres across China and an annual production capacity of around 200 million smartphones.
