Visa and United Commercial Bank (UCB) PLC have held high-level discussions on the future of payments, innovation, market expansion and payment excellence, reinforcing strategic alignment between the two organisations.
UCB held the meeting at its head office in Dhaka.
Visa Asia Pacific President Stephen Karpin, Group Country Manager for India and South Asia Suresh Sethi, and Bangladesh Country Manager Sabbir Ahmed were present at the event, said a press release on Thursday.
UCB CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Deputy Managing Director Md Abdullah Al Mamoon, Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman and the senior management team represented the bank side.
Visa reaffirmed its commitment to supporting UCB’s growth ambitions and serving as a key catalyst in accelerating innovation, strengthening the payments portfolio and unlocking new opportunities in the evolving digital payments ecosystem.
