The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organised a seminar on artificial intelligence (AI) applications in healthcare, internship opportunities and future career prospects.
Titled ‘AI in Healthcare: Internship Opportunities and Future Prospects at USA-based THSnet Inc’, the seminar was held on 23 July 2026, featuring THSnet Inc Chairman and CEO Azim Salim Fahmi as the keynote speaker, according to a ULAB statement.
Fahmi shared insights into the use of AI in healthcare, emerging career opportunities and potential pathways for students to engage with THSnet through internship programmes.
Following the seminar, ULAB Vice-Chancellor Shamsad Mortuza thanked Fahmi for introducing students to THSnet’s work and internship opportunities.
He also encouraged stronger and sustained industry-academia collaboration between ULAB and THSnet to create more opportunities for students in technology and research.
