The government has announced two Hajj packages under official management for 2027, following approval from the executive committee.
Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain (Kaikobad) revealed the details of the packages during a press conference held at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
The cost for “Hajj Package-1” has been set at Tk6,15,263. Pilgrims under this package will be provided with accommodation within 1,000 to 1,400 metres of the outer courtyard of Masjid al-Haram in Makkah. In Madinah, they will stay in Markazia area.
The tent location for these pilgrims in Mina will be Zone-2. Services in Mina and Arafat will be provided under “Service Package-3” category, which includes food supplied by the Moallem.
While the typical stay in Saudi Arabia is 35 to 40 days, pilgrims may opt for room upgrades or short package facilities by paying additional fees.
Designed as a more budget-friendly option, “Hajj Package-2” is priced at Tk5,05,648. Accommodation in Makkah for this package will be located within two to three kilometres of the outer courtyard of Masjid al-Haram.
In Madinah, pilgrims will stay within 800 metres of the Masjid al-Nabawi, outside the Markazia area.
In instances where hotels are located more than two kilometres away, Salawat bus services will be arranged in accordance with Saudi government regulations. The tent location in Mina for this package will be in Zone-5.
Like the first package, pilgrims will receive “Service Package-3” category services in Mina and Arafat, with meals provided through the Moallem.
