Trust Bank PLC has completed its month-long Entrepreneurship Development Programme under SICIP (Batch-2) in Saidpur, Nilphamari, reaffirming its commitment to promoting grassroots entrepreneurship.
The programme was conducted under a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed on April 30, 2025, among the SICIP Project Implementation Unit, Bangladesh Bank’s SMESPD, and Trust Bank PLC, reads a press release.
The initiative aimed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge needed to build competitive and sustainable enterprises.
The closing ceremony of the program was held on May 4, 2026, at Eque Heritage Hotel and Resort. Hosne Ara Shikha, executive director of Bangladesh Bank attended the event as the chief guest.
Trust Bank PLC was represented by Brig Gen Mohammad Shamsuzzaman (retd.), SEVP and principal of Training Academy; Mahboob Hossain, SEVP and head of Business; Sadat Ahmad Khan, SVP and head of SME Division; along with regional branch managers.
